Two employees have been named Alexa Champions by Amazon. Chief Content Officer Sarah Andrew Wilson and Software Engineer Ilarna Nche were two of 26 developers worldwide recently welcomed into the Alexa Champions program, which Amazon “designed to honor the most engaged developers and contributors in the community.”

Wilson was one of seven new Champions from the United States and Nche was one of two new Champions from the United Kingdom.

“This is a big honor from Amazon. I’m really proud of Ilarna and Sarah for being recognized at such a high level,” said Joel Wilson, Founder and CEO of “It also shows the great team work we have at and how fortunate I am to have recognized leaders on the team.”

According to Amazon, Alexa Champions “have played a key role in many exciting voice innovations, while at the same time sharing their knowledge worldwide through industry events, meetups, podcasts, publications, open source projects, and more.”
